David Fravor is a retired U.S. Navy Commander and former fighter pilot with over 18 years of flying experience. He served as the commanding officer of the Navy’s Strike Fighter Squadron 41 (VFA-41), also known as the “Black Aces,” flying the F/A-18F Super Hornet. Fravor is a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and has participated in numerous missions during his military career.
Fravor gained prominence in the field of UFOlogy following a 2004 incident off the coast of California, where he and his flight team encountered an unidentified flying object, now commonly referred to as the “Tic Tac” UFO. The object exhibited flight characteristics well beyond current technological capabilities, including rapid acceleration and the ability to hover with no visible means of propulsion. Fravor’s account, supported by radar data and infrared video, has been influential in bringing attention to the need for further investigation into such unexplained aerial phenomena.
